An Gailearaí is a professional gallery run by Gailearaí na gCroisbhealaí Teo. The project is located in the Donegal Gaeltacht and exhibits quality contemporary visual art. We provide opportunities and support for artists to make and exhibit their work as part of our annual exhibition programme. An Gailearaí has a special interest in developing and commissioning work that draws on traditional cultural sources and/or reflects a Gaeltacht sensibility. Acting as a national advocator of a contemporary cultural expression, An Gailearaí works to extend and promote this experience to other venues and localities by touring.
